Families from one of the city's newest neighborhoods gathered on a recent Friday night and the admission ticket was a pledge to oak Ridge Public Schools Education Foundation. The school event brought together some neighbors meeting each other for the first time and two of the families discovered that they had both arrived from the same Atlanta suburb.
Jim and Priscilla Campbell organized the progressive wine tasting on Center Park Lane. The party began with white wines and hors d'oeuvres at the home of Carla and Bruce LeForce with Keiron and Leslie Day as co-hosts.
Progressing up Center Park Drive, Jay and Katjhlyn Boudwin hosted with a flight of red wines and the party ended up with dessert wines at the Campbell's home with Igor and Anna Kosacki as co-hosts. The Kosack family is from Poland and Anna and their two children had gone back for a summer visit, but Igor carried out his co-hosting duties with great flair.
